For the 2nd day of Advent, we took Luke to see Santa Claus at the MacArthur Center mall. We waited in line for over 2 hours for a 30 second meet & greet with Santa.
Luke told Santa that he wanted new fighters for Christmas. When we got to the elevator, afterwards, Tim asked him if he told Santa that he was being a good boy & his eyes got all wide and his mouth made a little, o, and he said, NO! We have to go back!
It was too cute. We let him know that we were sure Santa knew he was being good & that there would be other times that Santa came to town to visit him.
After dinner, we all watched Frosty the Snowman and Frosty Returns together!

Advent
We are starting an Advent celebration this year with Luke and Vinnie and plan to make it a family tradition.
Today being Dec. 1, we started out with a fun trip to the Children's Museum in Portsmouth. Every Friday and Saturday evening, at 5:30, 6:30, and 7:30, they make it snow in the courtyard. Its free and open to the public!
The "snow" lasts for 10 minutes and is accompanied by a light show on the side of the building (with music). The snow is just soap bubbles/suds but the kids all seemed to have a good time!
The added bonus for us, is as members, we were able to go into the museum before the snow and after. We did the entire downstairs of the museum before they closed at 8pm.
Both boys really enjoyed it, even if Vinnie did sleep through the snow. :)

4 1/2 no, no, make that 5...
Vinnie has FIVE teeth now! He is a week away from 16 months old.
At his 15 month old well baby visit on Tuesday, he had 4 1/2 teeth and by this weekend, I think it is in enough to be called his 5th tooth. It is the top right tooth (a lateral incisor) :)
